About TARADIN

< taarradhin ترادين.

Taradin is an Arabic word for a win-win situation. It also means 'struggle', the challenges one overcomes to achieve success.

What is Taradin doing?

At Taradin, we develop antifragile leadership through our 'To Grow Beyond Resilience' programme, integrating self-insight and antifragility to empower individuals and organisations not only to survive but also to thrive in the face of change.

At Taradin, we embrace the philosophy of antifragility-thriving in the midst of challenges and using every obstacle as an opportunity to become stronger. Our leadership programmes and coaching are designed to help you build resilience and become more powerful, whatever the circumstances.

Taradin offers a unique approach for personal and professional growth towards antifragility, with a consistent approach:

  1. reflection on the fundamental question: 'what' are we doing it for?
  2. once the key question is clear: Approach the 'how', with an emphasis on cultivating antifragility - the art of becoming stronger amid changing circumstances.

The mission of Taradin

Our mission is to empower leaders and organizations to not only adapt to change but to harness it as a driving force for growth. By embracing antifragility, we prepare our clients to become more resilient and innovative with each challenge they encounter.

We believe in integrating resilience and meaning into leadership so that leaders can overcome obstacles and transform organizations into entities that thrive in times of change. Antifragility is the epitome of sustainability; it enables the best leaders to persevere and prepare their teams for a challenging future.

Our core values are courage, quality, equality and sustainability alongside, of course, Antifragility. These values underpin our work and guide us in everything we do. We support leaders in developing a leadership style that has meaning and purpose, and our years of experience in leadership roles, coaching and consulting enable us to promote sustainable growth and development.

With this mission, we aim to convince partners, investors, employees and other stakeholders to work with Taradin. We strive to transform leadership into a masterpiece that contributes to a more resilient and prosperous world.

Our ultimate vision is a world where antifragile organisations are the norm. With Taradin, we work to create leadership that not only succeeds, but positively impacts individuals and teams. Together, let's build a future where leaders and organisations thrive.

Who we are

After graduating from TEW and travelling through Latin America, I landed a job in an audit firm. However, the constant time pressure did not feel right. In finance, where I worked for 26 years, I enjoyed a lot of freedom. But at some point, expectation clashed with my true self. Saying goodbye was inevitable. After reflection, I decided to follow my passions: grow leaders, promote self-knowledge and face challenges with the mindset 'what can I learn from this'. I started training in logotherapy, where I met Bart Schollaert, and integrative psychology to better understand 'the human being'. With many years of leadership experience, including 18 years at board level, I founded Taradin in the summer of 2022. Our ambition is to guide people beyond resilience to antifragility. 'Taradin, to grow beyond resilience.' Wondering if this resonates with you? Feel free to schedule a conversation.

Owner and founder of Taradin.

"What I want is to be fully engaged in the world, to evolve and embrace the future while remaining in complete alignment with my self, and to continue to experience growth, which is the most beautiful feeling to me."

I often wondered how is it that some people, some leaders are able to navigate the struggle and challenge while others just spin their wheels, devolving into pointless circles or collapsing under the pressure? Like you, in my professional and personal life, I've experienced ups and downs, challenges and opportunities, joy and sadness. Some of these are handled better than others. Some I survived more intact than others, and some helped me learn and grow in ways that enabled me to thrive. Why? I came across the word antifragile in Nassim Nicolas Talebs book 'Antifragility, things that gain from disorder'. This captured my attention. What would it mean for a person to become antifragile? How could we develop antifragile human systems? What could antifragile look like for individuals? How could these principles help leaders become antifragile and even go beyond that to support antifragile teams, cultures, organisations? Antifragile leaders. Through my 20 plus years of experience as a business leader, my Study of Applied Economics, MBA, NLP, Coaching and Logotherapy, I know that I can help leaders to:

    • move beyond just getting through,
    • experience gain rather than loss from disruption, challenge and change, and
    • to understand how we are making ourselves fragile and what will help us become antifragile.

A quote attributed to Pablo Picasso inspires me greatly: "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away."

Every child has one of those 'Why phases', but with me it stuck, much to the annoyance of many educators. The yearning for insights, Aha-Erlebnisms and the inherent logic of things led me to study Philosophy, 20 years of entrepreneurship, Developmental coaching, Mediation, NLP, and finally to study the work of Viktor Frankl with Existential Analysis and Logotherapy. What gets me every time are the beautiful testimonies that everyone is trying so damn hard, and that most of the time that's exactly why it gets so hard. For a hobbyist thinker, it is an insight that it is precisely our thinking that makes us run along on the merry-go-round like an addict. Viktor Frankl's work offers a whole new horizon precisely there: "He who knows about the Why, always finds a good way How."

With an eye on practical applicability, I am passionate about being able to elaborate and share these valuable insights with you.
